| The Dartmoor Inn is a special
place. The cooking is great, the bar is warm, the style,
which owes a bit to Sweden and a bit to New England,
will make you feel at home. But we don’t just
want to offer you a meal and a place to lay your head.
We want to give you something special. |
The restaurant is made up of a series of cosy, stylish
dining rooms, each with its own identity. Although there
are linen cloths and sparkling glassware on every table
the feeling is relaxed. The award-winning cooking is
based on seasonal ingredients and much work has gone
into forging links with local farmers and food artisans
to ensure the best raw materials.
The small bar has local ales and a log fire - of course
- and its own menu (except Friday and Saturday evenings).
It serves pub classics, Dartmoor Inn style. You’ll
find fish and chips with green mayonnaise, steak sandwich
with onions, rocket and grain mustard, and caramelised
rice pudding.
